What is VR Mystery School?
Three things primarily: a VR space, event venue, and community about personal development, spirituality, and mysticism. It is a non-profit passion project by volunteers.
Is this a religion, sect, or cult?
No. VR Mystery School is a non-dogmatic passion project that seeks to facilitate peer-to-peer interactions about personal development, spirituality, and mysticism online and in virtual reality.
What do you do?
TarotReaderFrog develops a virtual reality space that facilitates social and educational activities. Volunteers host activities for fun and learning, and the community also casually discusses topics of shared interest.

Virtual reality? Why are you on Discord?
Discord is used to stay in touch, post activity reminders, and make community updates accessible outside VRChat.
If your community is not only on Discord, how does it work?
The community is made up of the individuals who attend VRM social events, special events, and informal gatherings.
Participating in virtual reality
Do I need a VR headset?
No. A Windows PC with the free Steam client and VRChat is enough. A VR headset is optional.
How do I get into VRChat?
On Windows, download the Steam client, create an account, install VRChat from the Steam store, and run VRChat from Steam.
How do I visit VR Mystery School once I am in VRChat?
Open the Worlds menu, search for VR Mystery School, choose an available instance, and join. For events, use the VRM group activity instance when it is available.
Is there a reason to visit outside events?
Yes. The VR space is always open and contains resources and interactive features related to personal development, spirituality, and mysticism.
Can I join as a Mac or Linux user?
Mac is not currently supported. Linux may work depending on the system, but the project cannot provide reliable setup instructions because compatibility changes quickly.
